Where Zurich Connects: The Central Plaza Hotel.
A short five-minute walk brings you straight to Zurich Main Station, where direct trains reach Zurich Airport (ZRH) in less than 15 minutes. From this central hub, the entire city, Switzerland, and Europe are within easy reach. Thanks to our prime location, the Central Plaza Hotel serves as the perfect base for your business meetings or leisure travel. Likewise, your local business partners will appreciate the seamless access, whether they are arriving by public transit or car.
There is a direct connection every 15 minutes. Take the express train directly from the main station to the airport. For those who don't like walking: There is also a tram connection to the airport from the tram stop 'Central', which is right next to the hotel. The fastest connections can be found on the SBB website.
If you are planning to travel around Switzerland at a reduced price, we recommend buying "Supersaver Tickets" in advance. These tickets are only available online and offer significant price advantages on many public transport routes throughout Switzerland. Further information on these tickets and their availability can be found via the link.
It’s best to check your luggage in: SBB can transport it door-to-door, station-to-station or even directly to your accommodation in Switzerland or Liechtenstein. This means you can travel without having to haul your luggage around, both within Switzerland and abroad.
Every taxi or Uber driver knows the Hotel Central in Zurich, knows the way to get there and the stopping place in front of the hotel, where we are happy to pick up your luggage. A taxi ride from the airport costs about CHF 60 and takes about 20 minutes. Taxis accept all major credit cards.
Hotel guests can park their car in the hotel garage for CHF 35 per day, subject to availability. A charging station for electric cars is available to our hotel guests for an additional charge of CHF 15. Please be sure to mention this when making your reservation!
